Privacy Policy
What this policy covers
This explains what Yeswel — the shop at yeswel.store — does with your personal details when you visit this website or buy from it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version: we collect what an order needs, we use it to fulfil that order, we do not sell it, and there is no advertising or analytics tracking on this site at all.
Anything you want to ask or change goes to support@yeswel.store.
What we collect
When you place an order:
- your name, email address and — if you give one — a phone number;
- your delivery address, and your billing address where it differs;
- what you ordered, what it cost, and the order's history with us.
When you write to us: your message and the address you wrote from, so we can answer and so we have a record of what was agreed.
When anyone visits: our servers keep the ordinary web log — the address the request came from, the time, the page, and what browser reported itself. It is how the site is kept up and how abuse is dealt with, and it is not connected to a person.
We never ask for a card number, a bank login or any document on this website, and no page here accepts one.
Why we use it
- To handle your order — to confirm it, arrange payment, deliver it, and deal with a return. This is the contract between us; without these details there is no order.
- To answer you — to reply to what you write and keep the thread of it.
- To keep the records we must keep — sales and tax records, for as long as the law requires them.
- To keep the shop safe — to spot fraudulent orders and to defend the site.
We do not use your details to advertise to you, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie, and only once you put something in the basket. It holds a basket identifier — nothing about you — so that the basket is still there when you come back. It lasts thirty days, it cannot be read by any script in the page, and it travels only to this shop.
There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers on this site. Nothing here is loaded from an advertising network, and that is why you are not being asked to agree to a banner full of them.
Clearing your browser's cookies empties the basket. Nothing else is lost.
Who else sees it
Only those who need it to complete your order:
- the carrier delivering your parcel, which needs the delivery address and your name;
- the provider that carries our email, which necessarily carries our correspondence with you;
- the company hosting this website and its database;
- an authority, where the law requires it of us.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
An order delivered across a border means the details on the parcel reach the customs authority of the destination country. That is unavoidable for international delivery.
How long we keep it
- Orders — for as long as accounting and tax rules require, then deleted.
- A basket you never ordered from — thirty days, then it expires by itself.
- Correspondence — while the matter is open and for a reasonable period after, so we can pick up where we left off.
- Web logs — about two weeks, kept for security, then rotated away automatically.
Your rights
Whatever country you are in, you may ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete what we no longer need to keep;
- stop using it for something you object to;
- hand it over in a portable form.
Write to support@yeswel.store and we answer within thirty days. There is no charge for asking, and asking never affects an order.
What we cannot do is delete the record of a sale we are required to keep. In that case we say so, say why, and delete the rest.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you may complain to the data protection authority where you live.
How it is kept
Everything between your browser and this site travels encrypted, and the same is true of the connection between the site and its database. Access to order details is limited to the people who handle orders, each with their own account.
No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your details, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires, rather than quietly hoping.
Children
This shop is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect the details of anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has given us their details, write to us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page. A change that materially affects what we do with details we already hold will be sent to affected customers by email rather than left here to be discovered.
